Industrial Decals with Super-Tac and Ultra-Tac adhesives from Stouse offer solutions to the most challenging projects. In a perfect world, decals would adhere to everything, but we know from experience that is not always the case. Some surfaces can actually be quite difficult for decal applications. If a standard permanent adhesive won’t stick to the surface, we often look to Super-Tac and Ultra-Tac for a resolution. Stouse offers both materials in digital 4-color process, expanding the creative possibilities from standard spot color options.
Full-color Industrial Decals like our Super-Tac and Ultra-Tac formulations are useful in a variety of tough situations. What is a difficult surface? Generally, problematic applications include uneven, blemished, or coated surfaces, and some plastics. Below are a few examples:
-
-
- Dumpsters
- Steel Drums
- Storage Containers
- Recycling Bins
- Powder-Coated Surfaces (Ultra-Tac is recommended)
- Portable Toilets or “Porta Potties”
- Machinery
- Heating and Air Conditioning Units
- Kegs

In some cases, the surfaces these decals are applied to are not visually pleasing, but that does not mean the decals can’t be! Applying an eye-catching decal to a bland surface is a sure way to grab attention. Add overlamination to protect the decal against abrasion and some solvents, oil, gasoline and acids. With this product line, it is possible to achieve a creative design while using an aggressive adhesive.
